I’M DOING IT! I’M DOING IT! I’M ON A ROLL! This wedding should have been blogged months ago, and I could give excuses why it’s just now happening, blah blah, but I’m not! I’m just going to tell you about this amazing wedding day.
I met Angela over a year ago through her brother and sisters. I got the opportunity to know her family as a whole over Flippers Tavern beer and brats, bonfires on their land, and local shows. I got to see how tender and intentional Angela is while planning her wedding, and it only made sense that she was marrying John. John is quiet, hardworking, and present. I didn’t get to talk to him much before their wedding, but one thing that stuck out to me that day was John’s gratefulness to me for shooting their wedding. He was so genuine in his thanks, and that really means a lot in this industry.
May 5th was a warm, cloudless, West Texas day. The girls got ready in the adorable getting ready house at Kitalou Gin. The natural light in there was perfect while they enjoyed some Chic Fil A nuggets and mimosas. Watching these gals love on Angela was heartwarming. They squealed (literally) with excitement while she went to her first look, and they remained giddy for the entirety of the day. Ugh. Girlgang love is so good.
John’s groomsmen were so fun. They were a mix of Angela’s brothers and John’s childhood friends. They had great attitudes while they endured the heat for portraits, and gave the best side commentary all day. Classic hilarity. Along with a kickass girlgang, you can’t beat dudes who love and support dudes, truly!
My words are done. Your eyes may scroll images now. Vendor info will be at the bottom, so now you have to look through the post for all the goods mwahahahah! Bye.
