HEY, SISTA! Day 2- Joshua Tree

UGH WHAT IS THIS LIFE?? Let me tell you how small this world is by how I know this bombshell blonde, Ciara. So, the night before our second day of HEY, SISTA!, Our other Mother Sister, the remarkable Lauren Apel, showed us an image of our models for her live shoot, and it just so happens Ciara and I have been Instagram friends for the last several years but have never met! What? Was I finally about to meet my mega, Alabama babe girl crush in the flesh? I was, and meeting her fly as heck boo thang named Ty was just icing on the cake. 

I don’t have many words to do justice to what that evening held. The chemistry between Ciara & Ty was undeniable. Several times I just stopped shooting and watched them. The desert dust was lightly kicked up while howls from the excitement of creativity filled the evening sky. It’s weird group shooting and trying to get the compositions that are in your head, but that learning curve was the best teacher and challenge. Also the fact I was shooting with some broken beer bottle, but that’s beside the point. It was definitely a “you had to be there” moment, so I hope I can bring you there through some of these images. This day made history in my book. Take a peep.
